Alva J. Fisher invented some novel and useful Improvements in Washing-Machine Drive Mechanisms. The present invention relates to a motor-driven drive mechanism for rotating the operating or clothes cleaning member of a washing machine, or a similar operating part of a similar machine, the drive mechanism including means for automatically reversing the rotation of the operating or clothes cleaning member, the latter rotating through a number of complete revolutions in one path and then in the opposite path to effectively and efficiently clean clothes.
