The Wright brothers made the first successful airplane in 1903. What they called as the “flying machine” is a heavier-than-air aircraft that works by controlling its horizontal surfaces (or the airplane’s wings) at different angles so as to make a “lift”. The machine’s engine is then able to move it forward and continue the flight. This significant breakthrough in history made human flight possible.
